Jean lived for 6 weeks after she was told she has cancer,.
when we went to the doctor to get the results of her scan the doctor asked my mam what she thought was wrong with her and she said I think I have cancer, the doctor said yes you have pancreatic cancer and we need to send you to the hospital and we need to get you seen ASAP.
my mam said she would not go into hospital as an inpatient but she would go as a outpatient so that is what they did, within 3 weeks we could see my mams skin turning yellow we went to 2 different hospital having a total of 6 visits.
my mams bloods were showing no signs of cancer but the scan showed a chuma the size of a seven month one, my mam had an operation in September and then found out she had cancer 4months after I Sade the doctor about this and he could not answer this.
i still blame the hospital because before she had her operation she had a scan and no-one picked up the chuma and she could not have any treatment.
so we had 6 weeks my mam was very loving she would help anyone and in the end we all helped her we looked after her, we loved her and she even said to my older brother that she didn't think we all loved her this much.
me and my bothers nursed my mam, my son who was 18 at the time spend all of his time with mam and still to this day he has not delt with the loss of my mam but I'm hoping he will get there
